Welcome to RASC, the writing group promoting Random Acts of Senseless Creativity.

The focus of RASC is on harnessing creativity in all its forms, primarily using the written word, but also crossing over in to music and visual or performance arts.

This website acts as the Engine Room of creativity. We do not attempt to teach or tutor writing skills. Instead, this group form a catalyst for ideas, we design creative activities and set projects to work on to get you inspired. Nothing, however, is compulsory or set in stone, and members can participate in as many or as few projects as they like. There are no deadlines, no word counts, no marks out of ten, just “semi-structured randomness”. We also welcome ideas and suggestions!

Above all, RASC provides an opportunity to meet like minds, share bouts of inspiration, and be senselessly creative in a supportive community. You can also showcase your work to others and find new writing buddies.
